Napa Golf Course at Kennedy Park
Sunday, February 9th, 2020
Tee Times starting at 1:30pm
REMINDERS:
- Dress comfortably, bring sunscreen, and stay hydrated
- Bring golf balls, a coin or ball marker to use on the putting green, and a towel to clean your golf ball/clubs
- Division 1 asks players to collect the golf ball directly off the turf - no tees will be used to tee the ball up in Division 1
- Division 2+ allows players to start using a tee for the first shot, though is not required
- All play will take place on Holes #1-9 at Napa GC
- Cones will be in place to designate where to start on each hole (Division 1 is 25 yards from the green; Division 2 is 50 yards from the green)
- Pairings are final as published - show up in time to warm up and be at Hole #1 five minutes prior to your published tee time
- Academy students (Match fees included / $5 cart); Non-Academy participants (Match fees: $10 junior / $15 adult / $5 cart)
- Spectator carts can be rented for $5
- Check in and register in the Pro Shop
- You will keep a paper scorecard (see example Op36 scorecard below) for another competitor, while logging your own stats in the orange section
- Please plan to keep your basic stats in that orange section (score, greens in regulation, total putts) - these basic stats will be logged for you
- The rules of golf apply: Play the ball as it lies and try your best on each shot attempt to advance your ball to the hole
- Maximum score on any hole is 8 - if you miss a putt for 7, pick up and move to the next hole and record an 8 for your score
- Signed and attested scorecards will be submitted to Coach Knox post-round on the clubhouse deck
- Coach David Knox will post your scores for you post-round in the Op36 app - DO NOT use the Mobile App during on-course challenge play!
- Be sure to communicate scores with your score keeper after each hole while heading to the next starting location
- In golf, you are your own rules official and referee. Count every stroke attempt, and honestly record your score and your competitor's score.
- Any hole-in-one's on Sunday from any Division will win a new golf ball - you all have nine opportunities to make your first shot of the hole!
- HAVE FUN with your on-course match challenge as you try to shoot 36 or better!
